Max’s Retreat is located off the beaten track, yet moments away from wineries, restaurants, boutique shopping, galleries and the famous Red Hill market.
Surrounded by natural bush, the retreat began its life as the original Red Hill RSL hall and later the Girl Guides Hall, before being renovated and extended to accommodate a four bedroom luxury retreat. The accommodation offers all the comforts of home with an eclectic feel of old and new.
Each of the four queen sized bedrooms has its own bathroom and a private deck to the cottage style gardens which surround the property. Quality linens and L’Occitane amenities add a touch of class. The country style kitchen has all the modern conveniences and is supplied by the organic herb and vegetable garden. Curl up with a glass of wine in front of the cosy wood fire in the winter or enjoy a barbeque on the deck in summer.
Dinner parties are an added feature of this retreat. After a hard day of winery hopping, sit back and relax while a professional chef cooks for you and your friends!
Max’s Retreat is charged at $220 per couple per night, or $800 for four couples. These rates include generous breakfast provisions and a complimentary bottle of Red Hill Estate sparkling wine.
Dinner parties for up to eight people are available from $100 per person.
Please note a two night minimum stay applies on long weekends and during January.
